Hey Everyone,
Don't have much time to update, but I did want to least let everyone know we're alive and kickin'
we still don't have internet set up at the apt yet, the waiting list is long. Hopefully next wk we'll get the call to set up the appt time for installation. That's when it's SUPPOSED to happen anyway. We're doing well, trying to get stuff put away and get settled in. We've been here a month so far, so only 35 more to go! We're enjoying it though. It's so much more laid back here then in the states. Found out shipping, at least from walmart doesn't take long at all. they shipped the rug I ordered for Max's room last wk and we got it yesterday. I'm very impressed. Looks like I'll be checking out other stuff on their website more often now when we need something. We got my car on monday and it's soooo nice to have my own vehicle now. I have the freedom to go more places and get out more. Plus i don't have to worry about taking Matt to work if I have something going on. I have Japanese language classes next wk that I signed up for, 4 days out of the wk. That would have sucked to have to get up at 530am everyday to take matt to work. Oh for those who don't know, my car looks like a squashed van. it's a Toyota Ipsum. A 96' i believe. Sits up to 7 or 8 ppl. and the rear seat folds flat, which is wear it stays. We just didn't have much room in the Cube (which is now Matt's vehicle), so this works so much better. Once the stroller was in teh cube, the wasn't much rm for groceries and such. It's much more roomy. Both vehicles get great gas mileage. about 35-40mpg I think. Can't remember exactly. It's hard to remember stuff like that b/c you have to figure it out first which means converting everything from kilometers or liters or whatever measurement you're trying to do, to what we're used to. plus, the car goes in Kilometers, measures in liters, but on base, the gas station is gallons, just like the states. out in town gas is sold by the liter i believe (we never get it there, it's more expensive). Well, like i said gotta keep this short. I'll update again soon. Hopefully we'll have internet then and I can post pics. Hope all is well back home. We miss everyone!!

Glad to know you are still around! Having a car for yourself makes a huge difference, huh? Glad all is going well. Let us know when you are fluent in Japenese. :)

We are in transit and are in a hotel in Bowling Green, KY right now. Will check on you all again.

Love ya'!
